What is DreamspaceXR?

DreamspaceXR's mission is to help you design your very own space in the metaverse, all without design limits. You get to show off who you are and what matters to you, and inspire and entertain your visitors. Anything you can possibly dream up can be included in your space. With 11,000 fully-customizable, immersive lands available for mint in May, 2022, we're just getting started. Check out our roadmap to see where we're headed!

What do you mean by "no design limits"?

Other metaverse platforms have a very specific design style and that's the only design style you can incorporate in your land. We believe this is limiting, both from a creativity perspective, but also from a "what's possible to build" standpoint. With DreamspaceXR, anything that can be put into a GLB file (practically any type of design asset using any type of design style) can be put into your land. This means that while some Dreamspace lands may stick to basic design styles (think the blocks in Minecraft), others may opt for photo-realistic design (looking just like the real world). Others may experiment with manga-style design, low polygon design, or even create their very own design style. We believe in the unbridled power of creativity and will celebrate that every step of the way!

Why is it called DreamspaceXR?

We set out to create the first metaverse without design limits. One where anything you can possibly dream up can be created, no matter it’s design style, use cases, or how crazy or out there it may be. We’re building your space to dream up anything, hence the name Dreamspace. XR (extended reality) speaks to our virtual reality and metaverse ambitions. We see a future where visitors to your land will be able to access it via web, mobile, VR headset, and any other platform or device with metaverse or extended reality capabilities. As extended reality technology advances, and we continue to execute our roadmap, you will be able to upgrade your land with loads of XR and interactive functionality!

How many lands are available in DreamspaceXR?

The DreamspaceXR map is 128-by-128 lands, for a total of 16,384 lands. No additional lands will ever be released.

11,000 of these lands will be available to mint in May, 2022. The mint date and pricing will be announced soon. Join our Twitter and Discord for updates on the mint!

The remaining 5,384 lands are reserved as “public lands”. These public lands are not available to mint or purchase in secondary NFT marketplaces. They will never be available for private ownership, so they will never affect the total supply of lands available for purchase/sale.

You can think about public lands like Central Park in Manhattan. Central Park is not sellable, but rather exists to serve the entire Manhattan community and its visitors. DreamspaceXR’s public lands exist to serve the same purpose. Over time, we’ll host community events and experiences on public lands. We’ll debut new functionality and features there too. Private individuals will be able to temporarily rent public lands for their own events and communities as well.

When will I be able to mint a Dreamspace land?

The DreamspaceXR mint will take place in May, 2022. 11,000 lands will be available for mint.

Check out the "Priority List and Referral System" page to learn more about joining the Priority List. Joining this list will let you mint your land a day early and for cheaper!

How big is each Dreamspace land?

Each Dreamspace land is 400 feet-by-400 feet. However, we will be introducing "portals" in 2023. These portals will transport your visitors to a new layer of your land, also 400 feet-by-400 feet. There will be no limits to the number of portals and layers you can add to your Dreamspace land. Though only 11,000 lands will ever be available for sale, each of those 11,000 lands has infinite space and possibilities!

What can I put on my Dreamspace land?

Just about anything! Any 2D or 3D architecture, structure, NFT, or just about anything else. Designers can create custom pieces for you as well.

Who are the people behind DreamspaceXR?

Art House’s executive team hails from Bungie Studios, Apple, Microsoft, and Sony. Our founders are veterans of gaming, software, and design, shipping games in both the Halo and Destiny franchises. They led one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Top 100 Brilliant Companies” to a $15 million VC raise, and $2 million in crowdfunding.
